IncrediBots Relics -- old IncrediBots artifacts either from its pre-release stages or that never got released
We're looking for IncrediBots Relics, which are "artifacts" of IncrediBots from
its pre-release days, or that never got released. We currently have the original
IncrediBots logo, the unused "Congratulations!" graphic in IncrediBots 2, and six
forum posts made by Ryan Clark under the alias of "theluckyleper".
If you have any other relic, know someone who does, or know how to get one,
please use the Contact Us form. Select "Other", then type
in "IncrediBots Relics" into the first text field, your email address in the second
text field (purely so we can discuss it further), and a description of the relic
into the last field. If you need to attach a file, please make a note of this in the
third field, and someone will respond to the email address provided. You can then
attach the file to the email normally, send it, and we will work with you from
there.
Early Bots -- bots
made before December 2008 with a robotID or replayID of under 100
Ryan Clark Bots -- bots created
by Ryan Clark himself that were NOT featured
We're looking for special bots. The first 100 bots, first 100 replays, and
anything made by Ryan Clark that was NOT featured qualifies. When IncrediBots 1
first started out in 2008, it used a URL with either "robotID" or "replayID" that
gave a number to each creation. If a robot or replay used that system, and the
number was below 100, then we want to see it! We're also looking for anything made
by Ryan Clark that was NOT featured. For a comparsion, these bots were featured (in
alphabetical order):
- CastleSiege [IB1 robot]
- Castle Siege [IB1 replay]
- IncrediBots Contest2 [IB1 robot]
- Mr. Face [IB1 replay]
- Mr. Monocle [IB1 replay]
- SpaceMan [IB1 replay]
- Thruster Challenge [IB1 robot]
- Thrusters Replay [IB1 replay]
- Yodel Quest [IB1 robot]
If you have any of Ryan Clark's bots not listed above (or any of the first 100
replays or the first 100 robots), know someone who does, or know how to get one,
please use the Contact Us form. Select "Other", then type
in "Ryan Clark Bots" or "Early Bots" (whichver's appropriate) into the first text
field, your email address in the second text field (purely so we can discuss it
further), and a description of the bot or replay into the last field. If you need to
attach a file, please make a note of this in the third field, and someone will
respond to the email address provided. You can then attach the file to the email
normally, send it, and we will work with you from there.
Website Errors -- any error in the website, whether factual or in the HTML itself
We don't like to have errors in the website, but sometimes it happens! There have
been errors in the website that have gone unnoticed until we make a correction, and
we have been fortunate enough that no one has pointed them out. But we are not
perfect, and we DO screw things up every now and then.
Although we have "validated page" badges at the bottom of each page, sometimes the
pages do not in fact validate fully. If your browser seems to be displaying
something abnormally, or tells you there is an error in the page (or even just a
warning), we'd like to know about it! First, click both of the "validated page"
badges at the bottom of the offending page, and if the tests show ANY errors or
warnings, skip the next paragraph and follow the instructions.
Sometimes we also get our facts wrong. Whether it's the spelling of a word, a wrong
date, or information that is just not true in the slightest, it can happen, and
although we try our best to make sure it doesn't happen, there are times when our
fact-checking doesn't spot these errors. If you spot anything wrong with our
information, grammar, or spelling, please let us know!
If you do spot any errors in the website, please use the Contact Us form. Select "Website", then either "I found an
error in the website" or "I found a mistake" (the latter for factual errors, the
former for anything else), then provide your email address and describe the problem
you found.
